Regrettably, the NTLPA Spring golf competition on 2nd April has had to be postponed as a result of the Coronavirus epidemic. An Autumn Competition is being considered if conditions allow – provisional details below – but this is subject to confirmation nearer the time. However please still contact Sam to register interest.
At the request of a number of players at the 2019 autumn competition, this year we are returning to the High Post Golf Club; one of our favourite courses. Tees have been booked for the game on Thursday, 8th October 2020. As is usual, the competition takes the form of a number of four-ball groups with individual Stableford scores to count towards the presentation of the Tony Burrows IBAGS (IBA Golf Society) trophy, currently held by Steve Johnson. The competition is open to all serving and ex-IBA, NTL and Arqiva players. Being a Stableford competition, there is no need to be embarrassed about the quality of your golf. The aim of the exercise is to enjoy a day out in the countryside with friends. Please bring along personal friends if you wish.
A £38 package has been negotiated, which includes coffee and a bacon bap on arrival, a round of golf and a lunch afterwards. Tee-off times start from 11.00, so it is suggested that we aim to be there for 10.15 at the latest so that a pre-golf coffee and banter can be enjoyed and names can be put to four-balls in good time.
Those wishing to join in the fun are asked to contact Sam Roberts on 01264 365662 or email sam@samroberts.plus.com
